Zelenskyy, together with the European Union, imposed restrictions against 120 individuals and organizations.
New sanctions will also be applied against Russia, Belarus, the UAE, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed two decrees, enacting the National Security and Defense Council's decision on coordination with European Union sanctions. This was reported by the Ukrainian Presidential Office announced.
According to the official statement, the coordination carried out within the framework of the EU's 20th sanctions package covers 120 individuals and organizations and includes economic restrictions targeting key sectors of the Russian economy.
It is noted that the new sanctions apply to a total of 16 individuals and 31 companies operating in Russia, Belarus, the UAE, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and territories occupied by Russia. Additionally, 19 Iranian citizens and 11 Iranian companies have also been included in the sanctions list.
The sanctions list includes heads of Russia's strategic enterprises, representatives of budget institutions, certain army units, and individuals serving Russian interests in temporarily occupied territories.
Furthermore, the list includes enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex, manufacturers of electronic warfare systems, companies producing software and spare parts for drones, as well as enterprises engaged in oil, gas, and gold extraction.
In particular, restrictions have been imposed on "Atlant Aero," a manufacturer of aerospace products and drone components, and "IRZ-Svyaz," a company producing communication systems and spare parts for UAVs.
Additionally, certain companies in the UAE — organizations supplying laboratory equipment, chemical products, and spare parts for commercial aircraft — have also fallen under sanctions. Restrictions have also been applied to an oil exporting company in Belarus.
Ukraine has also imposed sanctions on three Russian citizens. Among them are prosecutor Lyudmila Balandina, judge Dmitry Gordeev, and propagandist Maria Sittel. They are accused of activities related to repression and spreading disinformation.
Furthermore, 19 Iranian citizens and 11 Iranian companies have been added to the sanctions list, which are involved in activities related to Iran's ballistic missile and drone production programs.
According to Vladislav Vlasyuk, the Ukrainian President's representative for sanctions policy, Kyiv continues to harmonize sanctions regimes with the European Union and partners, and plans to increase pressure on Russia and its supporters. He also stated that work is underway on the EU's 21st sanctions package.
