The first children's museum in the center of Islamic civilization has started operating.

A ceremonial event was held at the Center of Islamic Civilization, built on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the occasion of June 1 — International Children's Day. As part of the celebration, the official opening ceremony of the Interactive Children's Museum Exhibition, the first of its kind in our country, was held at the modern children's playground established at the center.

Opening the event with an introductory speech, the Director of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, Firdavs Abdukholiqov, emphasized the importance of this complex in the upbringing of the younger generation:

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as the initiator and author of the concept of the Center of Islamic Civilization, pays special attention to ensuring that the Center's activities primarily serve to educate and enlighten the younger generation. As the head of state has repeatedly emphasized, the rich heritage of our great ancestors should inspire young people to acquire new knowledge and achieve high goals.

The children's exhibition opening today serves precisely this noble purpose. It is aimed at sparking children's interest in science, history, and creativity. After all, our great ancestors achieved great success from a young age: Ibn Sina became known for his profound knowledge at the age of sixteen, Beruni studied astronomical sciences from childhood, and Mirzo Ulugbek, despite being a young ruler, made an invaluable contribution to the development of science.

We believe that this exhibition will strengthen the sense of pride in our children for their history and heritage, inspire them towards new discoveries, and encourage them to strive for high goals.

At the ceremony, one of the project implementers — Ahmed Salim, Producer of the UK-based organization "1001 Inventions", also took the floor, expressing gratitude to the head of our state, who initiated this mega-project, and delivered an enthusiastic speech to the children:

"This country is so interesting and rich that there are a thousand reasons for it to achieve such a status. You, dear children of Uzbekistan, are witnessing just one of those thousand reasons today. Because all the other fascinating aspects are embodied inside — in the unique knowledge and potential of our youth. Inside, you will gain valuable information about the discoveries of great scholars and scientists who were able to change the entire world with knowledge, enlightenment, and high progress. Are you ready to see it? But you must promise us one thing: in the future, you too will surely become the creators of such great works!"

Furthermore, Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education Azizbek Turdiyev congratulated the children on the holiday and emphasized the scientific significance of the center and its ability to be a true source of inspiration for the growing younger generation.

"The Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, built on the initiatives of our President, has also conquered the Guinness World Records. The fact that all of us are standing in this place is also a historic event. Now, you children, as the builders of the future, must thoroughly study our history and modern technologies by utilizing the opportunities here," he said.
