A section of the Tashkent–Nurafshon road will be closed until July 21.
The restriction begins from the newly constructed bridge and covers the distance up to the Avangard residential area in the O‘rta Chirchiq district.

Traffic on a section of the D-002 highway connecting Tashkent and Nurafshan cities will be temporarily stopped.
It is reported that, based on the relevant order of the Governor of Tashkent region, in order to complete the construction of road infrastructure, ensure traffic safety, and prevent congestion, traffic of all vehicles will be fully restricted on the section of the D-002 highway from the 4th kilometer to the 9th kilometer until July 21.
The restriction starts from the newly constructed bridge and covers the distance up to the Avangard residential area in the O'rta Chirchiq district.
In this regard, drivers traveling from Bekabad city and district, as well as from the Bo'ka district towards Tashkent, are recommended to turn right at the Bo'ka bridge via the D-020 Qorasuv–Bo'ka–Bekabad highway and use the A-373 Tashkent–O'sh highway.
Those traveling to Tashkent from the Piskent and O'rta Chirchiq districts, as well as from Nurafshan city, can turn right at the "Tekstil" intersection on the 26th kilometer of the D-002 highway or in front of the Gulandon shopping complex on the 23rd kilometer and proceed via the D-014 G'azalkent–O'rta Saroy–Nurafshan highway.
Additionally, drivers can travel from the Avangard residential area on the 9th kilometer of the D-002 highway via the local road 10V-111B to the O'rta Saroy village, then onto the A-373 Tashkent–O'sh highway towards Tashkent.
Officials asked drivers to plan their trips in advance, taking the temporary restriction into account, and to use the recommended detour routes.
It is reminded that the introduction of a BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) system between Tashkent and Nurafshan is planned. Once the project is implemented, travel time between the two cities is expected to nearly halve to 30 minutes, and the movement of over 150,000 residents is expected to become safer and more convenient.
