The final squad of the Uzbekistan national team for the 2026 World Cup has been announced.
Sherzod Temirov, who was the top scorer of the Iraqi championship in the past season, has dropped out of this list.

The final 26-man squad of the Uzbekistan national team, which recently set off on a World Cup journey, for the upcoming World Championship has been announced.
Out of the 30 players taken to the USA, Umarali Rahmonaliyev, Ruslanbek Jiyanov, Sherzodbek Temirov, and Jasur Jaloliddinov were dropped.
Meet the 26 players included in the final squad by Fabio Cannavaro:

Defenders: Avazbek O‘lmasaliyev (OKMK), Jahongir O‘rozov (“Dinamo”), Rustam Ashurmatov (“Istiqlol”, Iran), Umar Eshmurodov (“Nasaf”), Abduqodir Husanov (“Manchester City”, England), Abdulla Abdullayev (“Dibba”, UAE), Farrux Sayfiyev (“Neftchi”), Hojiakbar Alijonov (“Paxtakor”), Sherzod Nasrullayev (“Paxtakor”), Behruz Karimov (“Surxon”).

For reference, the “White Wolves” will compete in Group K of the World Cup against the national teams of Colombia, Portugal, and Congo.
The first match will take place on June 18 at 07:00 Tashkent time against Colombia.
Additionally, Cannavaro's charges will play a friendly match against the Netherlands national team on June 8 as part of their World Cup preparations.
