"We will deliver a strong blow to Iran tonight — Trump"
Trump accused Iran of not adhering to the agreements reached during the negotiations.

US President Donald Trump announced that the US may strike Iran again on the evening of July 8. At the same time, he stated that the initial truce agreement between the US and Iran has effectively ended. Reuters reported this.
It is noted that Trump, speaking with journalists during the NATO summit in Ankara, accused Iran of failing to comply with agreements reached during negotiations. According to him, US forces struck Iranian territory the previous day, and new attacks could be carried out if necessary.
"I will give them a small warning: we will strike hard tonight," Trump said before his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Trump also previously announced that the memorandum of understanding, which served as the basis for the initial truce between the US and Iran, had lost its effect. Following his statements, oil prices sharply rose on the global market.
At the same time, the US President did not confirm that Washington intends to start a full-scale war with Iran again. He also did not provide a clear explanation on whether negotiations to turn the initial truce into a permanent agreement would continue.
Trump reiterated that Iran must never possess nuclear weapons and stated that this could be achieved even without an agreement.
Against the backdrop of the recent escalation, Iran announced that it had targeted US military facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait in response to US strikes on Iranian territory. The US stated that it carried out these strikes after tankers were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz.
The renewed escalation of the conflict has heightened security concerns in the Strait of Hormuz. According to shipping data, at least four oil and gas tankers have refused to transit through this strategic waterway and have turned back.
