In the updated FIFA ranking, the Uzbekistan national team dropped by 10 places.

FIFA has published the latest ranking of national teams. In the updated list, the Uzbekistan national team dropped 10 places to 60th position. The team managed by Fabio Cannavaro currently has 1409.73 ranking points.

 

Uzbekistan lost 23.11 points in the latest update. The main reason for this was the national team's unsuccessful performance in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The "White Wolves" lost 1:3 to Colombia, 0:5 to Portugal, and 1:3 to DR Congo in the group stage, finishing the tournament without a win. Additionally, defeats in friendly matches against Canada and the Netherlands also contributed to the decline in the rankings.

 

Among Asian teams, Japan maintained its lead in 17th place. The following positions are occupied by Iran (22nd), Australia (28th), and South Korea (32nd). Uzbekistan ranks seventh in the continental standings with 60th place. Saudi Arabia (58th) and Qatar (59th) are placed above Uzbekistan, while Iraq (63rd), UAE (68th), and Jordan (73rd) occupy the positions behind it.

 

World Cup winner Spain accumulated 30.27 points and rose to first place in the FIFA rankings with 1995.88 points. Former leader Argentina is in second place, France third, England fourth, and Brazil fifth.

 

The top fifteen of the updated ranking also includes Morocco, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Mexico, Colombia, Germany, Croatia, Switzerland, and Italy.

 

According to FIFA, Norway rose 12 places, recording the biggest increase in the rankings. Tunisia dropped 12 places, experiencing the largest decline. In terms of ranking points, Spain achieved the biggest increase (+121.17), while Panama was the team that lost the most points (-60.74).
