US Open: Kamilla Rakhimova defeated the world's 29th-ranked player

The last Grand Slam tournament of the year in tennis — the US Open — has started in New York.
Uzbekistan's representative Kamilla Rakhimova, competing in the main draw of the tournament, defeated Czech player Barbora Krejčíková, ranked 29th in the world, in the first round.
The first set, which was closely contested, ended with a 7:6 victory for Rakhimova. In the second set, Rakhimova took full control of the initiative, winning 6:2 and sealing the match in her favor.
Today, in the evening program, another of our tennis players, Maria Timofeyeva, will also take to the court. She will face Slovenian player Tamara Zidanšek.
