A threat to Moscow is possible: The US Embassy warned its citizens
The Russian Federal Security Service confirmed that a report had been received about a terrorist attack being prepared in Moscow.

The US Embassy in Moscow warned on October 31 of the threat of an incident in the territory of the «Tsaritsyno» state museum-reserve that could cause the deaths of many people. The embassy stated that the US government is coordinating response measures with the Russian side.
The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation confirmed that the American side had informed Russian special services about a terrorist attack being prepared in Moscow. The agency stated that relevant work is being carried out on this matter, wrote TASS.
The embassy's warning said the threat pertains to the territory of the «Tsaritsyno» museum-reserve located at 1 Dolskaya Street. However, the nature of the possible incident and the source of the threat were not disclosed.
The US Embassy advised its citizens not to visit the museum on October 31, to stay away from crowded places, to remain vigilant, and to monitor local media reports. It also recommended keeping phones charged and carrying identification documents.
According to the «Vazhniye istorii» publication, concerts had been planned that day at «Tsaritsyno» at 17:00 in the Khlebny Dom and at 18:00 in the Bazhenov Hall.
The «Fontanka» publication called the museum-reserve's single phone number to request comment on the information about the threat. The publication was told that the museum was operating as usual.
However, according to a report by a «Ostorozhno Media» journalist, the museum-reserve was later closed for technical reasons. Police officers arrived at the territory, and the entrance was blocked. According to the journalist, the situation in the area was calm, and there were few visitors.
For reference, in March 2024, before the terrorist attack at the «Crocus City Hall» complex, the US Embassy had also warned about a possible attack on mass events in Moscow, including concerts.
