In Uzbekistan, every Thursday has been designated as "Youth Day".
The headquarters of the World Youth Movement for Peace will be established in Tashkent, while Samarkand will host a number of prestigious international events.

During the ongoing dialogue with youth at the Koksaroy residence, it was announced that this year, the headquarters of the World Youth Movement for Peace will be established in Tashkent city, the 12th Global Conference of the Youth Parliament members, the "Take Off" international startup summit, and the 46th World Chess Olympiad will be held in Samarkand city.
The President, focusing particularly on the issue of improving quality and introducing new methodologies and innovations in the education system, emphasized, "Certainly, introducing new methodologies and innovations, improving the quality of education, and making children masters of their profession will bring changes in the activities of a leader who seeks this, a new atmosphere will enter their work."
It was noted that at a time when various threats aimed at capturing the minds of youth are intensifying worldwide, leaders at all levels must transition to a completely new system of working with youth.
In our country, Thursday of every week has been designated as "Youth Day" in ministries, agencies, and local administrations. On this day, responsible leaders go to neighborhoods, schools, and technical colleges, listen to youth, and solve their problems on the spot.
Furthermore, youth-friendly trade and service projects are implemented by local authorities, and assistance is provided for youth to receive education, engage in sports, learn a profession and foreign languages, find employment, or start entrepreneurial activities. Meetings with startup initiators are held, and special funds and grants are allocated.
In addition, it was decided to organize competitions and fairs among the best young gardeners, farmers, industrialists, startup founders, creative individuals, and youth active in spirituality and other fields.
