Within the framework of the "My Garden" program, over 400 million soums will be allocated for each project.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev is participating in a tree planting event as part of the nationwide "Green Space" project.

By 2030, Uzbekistan will increase its overall greenery level to 30% and the green area per capita to 10 square meters. This was reported by the President's press secretary.
It is reported that to increase the greenery level, a 10,000-hectare "green space" will be created in Surkhandarya and an 84-kilometer "green wall" in Syrdarya. In Karakalpakstan, new forest plantations will be established on 1 million hectares, in Navoi and Bukhara on 300,000 hectares each, and in Khorezm on 85,000 hectares of desert area.
Furthermore, each regional governor will be responsible for organizing botanical and dendrological gardens on at least 100 hectares and creating at least 20 shady promenade streets.
Starting this year, the activities of "green" technical schools will be launched in each region, and the training of 10,000 specialists annually on a dual education basis will begin.
The botanical and dendrological gardens will become a practical base for students of these technical schools and a research field for their scientific staff.
In addition, the President proposed to further expand the participation of the population and deputies in creating green gardens in the regions.
While under the "My Garden" program, up to 250 million soums from the budget were allocated for each project, now this amount will be increased to over 400 million soums.
For each green garden and public park, up to 1 hectare of land will be allocated from places chosen by the population themselves, close to their residential areas, and most importantly, where water supply is available.
Starting from this season, each deputy of the Legislative Chamber will also be allocated over 412 million soums to create a green area or green garden in their constituency.
