"The world will not be as 'calm' as before" — Shavkat Mirziyoyev
The President of Uzbekistan stated that it is absolutely necessary for all leaders to completely change their worldview.

Under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a videoconference meeting has begun to analyze the results of the first quarter and discuss priority tasks until the end of the year regarding ensuring economic growth in regions and sectors. The President's press secretary reported this.
It was reported that Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that while the first quarter results are good, it would be a mistake to become complacent, and emphasized that in the context of a worsening global situation, leaders must fundamentally change their work methods and approaches.
"I repeat: in the current conditions, where global conflicts, confrontations, and the struggle for leadership are intensifying, the world will not be as 'calm' as before. In such a situation, all leaders must completely change their accustomed work methods, approaches, and, if necessary, their worldview," – said the President.
The head of state announced that this year, 140 trillion soums will be allocated through banks for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
According to the examples cited, significant employment has been created in some regions thanks to the allocated loans. In particular, 1 billion soums in loans created 20 permanent jobs in Shirin, 17 in Uchquduq, 14 each in Khanabad and Sokh, and 13 in the Tomdi district.
At the same time, it was reported that in the Uchko'prik, Piskent, Bo'stonliq, Karmana, and Qo'rg'ontepa districts, an average of only 3 jobs are created per 1 billion soums in loans.
It was noted that if loans in all regions had been directed to effective projects, an additional 36,000 jobs could have been created, and the income of another 60,000 citizens could have been brought out of the informal sector.
In this regard, the need to use artificial intelligence in project selection and credit resource allocation was emphasized. However, the slow pace of training regional bank employees to work with artificial intelligence was criticized.
Officials were tasked with starting the training of district bank employees in artificial intelligence and implementing the "Artificial Intelligence Advisor" platform in banks. This platform is intended to provide ready-made solutions to entrepreneurs by analyzing project parameters, risks, and market demand during the loan application process.
