Iran's President is outraged by drone and missile attacks on the UAE — Media
It is reported that a serious confrontation has arisen between Masoud Pezeshkian and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

It is reported that a serious conflict has emerged between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and the country's military leadership, particularly the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). This was reported by Iran International, citing sources.
According to sources familiar with discussions in Tehran, Pezeshkian expressed strong anger over the actions of the IRGC, led by Ahmad Vahidi. He described the missile and drone attacks against the UAE as "absolute irresponsibility," stating they were carried out without warning or coordination with the government.
Reports indicate that Pezeshkian assessed the IRGC's approach towards regional states as "madness" and warned that it could lead to irreversible consequences.
According to sources, the president requested an emergency meeting with Mojtaba Khamenei to discuss the situation. In this meeting, he intends to demand an immediate halt to the IRGC's actions against the Persian Gulf states and the implementation of measures to de-escalate tensions.
Pezeshkian emphasized that there is still an opportunity for diplomatic solutions and stressed the need to return to negotiations within a short period. He plans to put forward an initiative to resume dialogue through international mediators.
Meanwhile, conflicting statements are being made regarding the situation in the maritime area. US officials have stated that commercial shipping continues and the situation is under control. The IRGC has denied this, claiming that "violating vessels" are being stopped.
US President Donald Trump did not assess the recent events as a large-scale conflict and did not declare the truce officially broken.
Analysts say the gap between political and military views within Iran is widening. This could deepen divisions in state governance and lead the country to the risk of a broader military conflict.
Sources close to the president indicated that he is seriously concerned about international responses. Pezeshkian noted that Iran cannot withstand a new large-scale war and that ongoing military actions could lead to US strikes on economic and energy infrastructure.
