The case of Kamchibek Tashiyev in Kyrgyzstan has been brought to court.
The Prosecutor General's Office of Kyrgyzstan has approved the indictment prepared against Tashiyev and sent the case to court.

The criminal case against the former chairman of the Kyrgyz State Committee for National Security (SCNS), Kamchybek Tashiev, has been sent to court. This was reported by 24.kg, citing his lawyer Ikramidin Aytkulov, as stated.
According to the lawyer, the Kyrgyz Prosecutor General's Office has approved the indictment prepared against Tashiev and sent the case to the Pervomaisky District Court in Bishkek. Along with the former official, seven other individuals are also being charged in the case.
Kamchybek Tashiev is accused of preparing to seize power through violent means and abusing his official authority.
It has been reported that the criminal case has been classified. Therefore, court hearings will be held behind closed doors, and the disclosure of information related to the investigation and trial is prohibited.
We recall that Kamchybek Tashiev was dismissed from his position as Chairman of the Kyrgyz SCNS in February of this year. At that time, he stated that he had not expected his dismissal. The President of Kyrgyzstan indicated that Tashiev would not return to public service.
Jogorku Kenesh deputy Elvira Surabaldiyeva announced that the former head of the SCNS was removed from his position because he organized an attempted coup d'état.
At the end of April, Tashiev was officially charged under two articles. As part of this case, former Prosecutor General Kurmankul Zulushyev and former Speaker of Parliament Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu were also interrogated alongside Tashiev.
