Dogs were brutally killed in Tashkent.
It was reported that pre-investigation checks are being conducted regarding the situation.

A pre-investigation inspection is being conducted regarding a video showing cruelty to dogs in the Mirzo Ulug'bek district of Tashkent city. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department (IIBB) here.
On June 19, videos were circulated on social media showing several men treating dogs cruelly and beating them to death in a warehouse area near a multi-story building. This incident sparked various discussions among the public.
According to Yevgeniy Rojkov, an entrepreneur operating in the area, the number of stray dogs in the vicinity had increased significantly recently after nearby construction projects were completed. For this reason, he contacted a veterinarian he had worked with before, requesting treatment of the area against fleas and an examination of dogs in serious condition.
The entrepreneur noted that the veterinarian's initial actions were also captured in the videos, where he injected the dogs and carried out neutralization work in the area. However, it was later determined that some dogs were treated cruelly.
Guli Ergasheva, Deputy Director of the "Ekolog" public organization, stated that the veterinarian's actions contradicted the requirements of current legislation and the principles of humane treatment of animals, noting that the dogs were killed brutally.
According to the IIBB, the identities of the individuals shown in the videos have been determined. Explanatory letters and statements have been obtained from them. Currently, pre-investigation inspection work regarding the situation is ongoing. A legal decision will be made based on the final conclusion.
We remind you that from March 25 of this year, liability for cruelty to animals has been strengthened in Uzbekistan. According to the legislation, individuals committing such offenses are subject to a fine ranging from 15 to 25 times the basic calculation value (approximately 6.1 million soums to 10.3 million soums) or administrative arrest for up to 15 days, as established.
