Trump spoke with Putin and Zelensky over the phone.
In separate meetings, the prospects for ending the war in Ukraine, peace negotiations, and the situation surrounding Iran were discussed.

A telephone conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump. During the talks, the war in Ukraine, the situation around Iran, and issues of peace negotiations were discussed. Reuters reported on this.
According to Yuri Ushakov, Putin informed Trump that Russian troops had taken control of the strategically important city of Konstantinovka in Ukraine's Donetsk region. However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the General Staff of the country's Armed Forces rejected this claim, emphasizing that the city remains under Ukrainian control.
Moscow reiterated that any agreement to resolve the conflict in Ukraine must include recognition of Russia's full control over Donbas. Kyiv does not accept such a demand.
Earlier, Zelensky had called on Putin to hold a face-to-face meeting, but the Kremlin rejected this proposal. According to Ushakov, Trump stated that US special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are ready to travel to Moscow again to continue peace negotiations.
In recent weeks, negotiations on Ukraine have slowed down as Washington's diplomatic efforts have been primarily focused on the situation related to Iran. Putin also expressed hope that the US attempts to resolve the Iran conflict through diplomatic means would serve to find a long-term and mutually acceptable solution on key issues.
During the conversation, the Russian President reminded Donald Trump that the invitation to visit Moscow remains valid. In turn, Volodymyr Zelensky described the conversation with Trump as "very good." According to him, the parties discussed the situation on the front line, including the battle line stretching nearly 1,200 kilometers.
"There is a real opportunity to end this war. The firm position of the United States is crucial in this process," said Zelensky.
He added that the two leaders agreed to continue negotiations within the framework of the NATO summit.
