Three of the newborns are girls, and two are boys; the condition of the mother and children is good.
On July 6, 5 twins were born in Andijan. The Ministry of Health reported this.
According to the information, Nargiza Bekjonova, a resident of the "Qayrag‘ochtosh" neighborhood assembly in Andijan city, was admitted to the Andijan City Maternity Complex No. 2 on July 6 with a diagnosis of multiple pregnancy.
She underwent a cesarean section procedure due to a diagnosis of premature birth. The process was successfully carried out with the participation of obstetrician-gynecologists, neonatologists, and resuscitators.
It is known that:
- First baby: girl, weight 1450 g;
- Second baby: boy, weight 1605 g;
- Third baby: girl, weight 1495 g;
- Fourth baby: boy, weight 1585 g;
- Fifth baby: girl, weight 1205 g.
After that, the mother and babies were transferred to the Andijan regional branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Maternal and Child Health to provide specialized medical care.
According to the Ministry of Health, currently, the mother and five babies are under the supervision of doctors, and their condition is good.
