The President of Uzbekistan will be on a state visit to the Republic of Korea
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also participate in the first "Central Asia – Republic of Korea" summit.

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Korea, Lee Jae Myung, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will pay a state visit to this country on September 13-16.
In Seoul, the head of state will hold talks with the President of the Republic of Korea, Lee Jae Myung, in a narrow and expanded format, and will hold meetings with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Cho Jeong-sik, the Prime Minister, Han Duck-soo, and the heads of major Korean companies and financial institutions.
Issues of further strengthening and expanding the special strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and Korea, deepening cooperation in priority areas of collaboration, and activating cultural and humanitarian exchanges will be considered.
The President will also participate in the first "Central Asia – Republic of Korea" summit. It will discuss prospects for cooperation in trade, investment, infrastructure, digital transformation, science, technology, and many other areas.
Following the event, the adoption of the Seoul Declaration is planned.
