Uzbekistan's MFA Expresses Concern Over Attack on Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan expressed deep concern over the further deterioration of the situation in the Middle East, in particular, the attacks carried out on the territory of Saudi Arabia by missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The Ministry strongly condemns the use of force against peaceful civilians, civilian and energy infrastructure facilities, as well as any actions that threaten the security of the region's states and international shipping.

The MFA emphasized the need for strict adherence to the norms of international law, including the principles of respect for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of states.

According to the Ministry, the disagreements that have arisen must be resolved exclusively through political and diplomatic means, dialogue and mutual respect.

Uzbekistan expressed its support for the efforts of the UN and the region's states aimed at de-escalating tensions in the Middle East, preventing further expansion of the conflict and ensuring sustainable peace.
