Control through helicopters: 70 kg of narcotic plants destroyed
During the event, several cases related to marijuana storage and cannabis cultivation were identified in Andijan, Samarkand, and Bukhara regions.

“Qoradori-2026” comprehensive rapid-prophylactic operation’s second phase, controlled flights using helicopters were carried out in all regions of the republic. During the operations, a total of 70 kg of narcotic plants grown in households were destroyed in the prescribed manner.
During the operations conducted by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Rapid Search Department and its territorial divisions, a number of cases were identified.
In the Oltinko‘l district of Andijan region, 24 kg of marijuana was found in the household of a citizen born in 1967. On this case, a criminal case was initiated under Article 273, Part 6, Clause “a” of the Criminal Code.
In the same district, it was identified that a farm enterprise manager had planted and cultivated 520 cannabis plants on 200 square meters of land. A criminal case was initiated against him under Article 270, Part 2, Clause “v” of the Criminal Code.
In Izboskan district, 6 kg 100 grams of marijuana was found in the residence of a citizen born in 1977. On this case as well, a criminal case was initiated under Article 273, Part 6, Clause “a” of the Criminal Code.
In Samarqand district of Samarqand region, it was identified that a person born in 1981 had planted and cultivated 41 cannabis plants in his backyard and stored 400 grams of marijuana. On this case, a criminal case was initiated under Article 270, Part 1 of the Criminal Code.
In Bukhara district of Bukhara region, it was identified that a married couple had grown 46 cannabis plants in the backyard of their residence.
Furthermore, in another household in the district, it was identified that 53 cannabis plants were being grown on 42 square meters of land. On these cases, criminal cases were initiated against the citizens under Article 273, Part 6, Clause “a” of the Criminal Code.
Within the second phase of the Qoradori-2026 operation, measures aimed at identifying and destroying plants containing narcotic substances in the regions of the republic are ongoing.
