The President of Uzbekistan has arrived in Turkey
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife were welcomed by Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Cevdet Yılmaz and other officials.
At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by his spouse, arrived in Ankara on an official visit. At Etimesgut Airport, the head of state was welcomed by the Vice President of Turkey, Cevdet Yılmaz, and other officials.
In these days, the leader of Uzbekistan will participate in the events of the next summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
The agenda of the conference, held under the slogan "Turkic Century: Unity in Language, Thought, and Action," includes issues of further strengthening multilateral cooperation in priority areas.
At the conclusion of the summit, the Ankara Declaration and a set of agreements aimed at further expanding practical partnership within the organization will be adopted.
