Artificial intelligence could break crypto exchanges to make money — Elon Musk
Elon Musk commented on the future opportunities and risks of artificial intelligence following the hacker attack on the Binance crypto exchange.

American entrepreneur Elon Musk said that artificial intelligence may in the future escape human control and, in order to increase its own income, hack crypto exchanges and engage in fraud, writes Point.md.
Musk wrote this on the X social network while reacting to speculation about a hacker attack on the Binance crypto exchange.
According to him, the hacker used complex algorithms. In particular, they may have tried to use frozen USDT funds as collateral to obtain unblocked ETH loans.
“Someday superintelligent agents will do this not for humans, but to earn currency for themselves,” Musk wrote.
Earlier, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao confirmed that a hacker attack had been carried out on the exchange and announced that an investigation had been launched into the situation. According to him, security experts are promptly checking the incoming information.
The exchange's leadership estimated the damage from the security incident at $6.3 billion.
After that, platform representatives announced that, as a precaution, deposit and withdrawal operations for users' accounts had been temporarily suspended.
