It was revealed that the officials in Samarkand turned the delegation into a "family trip."
In the Qo‘shrabot and Kattaqo‘rg‘on districts, officials included close relatives and unrelated employees in delegations during foreign service trips.

Following a report published on the Opa-uka journalists' channel, the Anti-Corruption Agency conducted an inspection regarding foreign business trips, the procedure for their announcement, and compliance with established rules in local government bodies in the Samarkand region.
During the inspection, it was established that officials from the Qushrabot and Kattakurgan district administrations included their close relatives, including wives, sons, and drivers, as well as employees not directly related to the trip, in their business trip delegations.
Specifically:
The driver M.T. and the son D.D. of the Qushrabot district governor were sent to a seminar in China organized for professional farmers from Central Asian countries.
Regarding special training courses on "Agricultural Development and Processing Organization" held in China, it was indicated that representatives from the relevant departments of the Qushrabot district administration and heads of farm enterprises were invited, and a delegation list (roster) of 32 individuals was submitted.
However, upon studying the list, it became known that some delegation members, including the district governor's spouse M.Sh. and a close relative Ch.H. of another official from the administration, were unjustifiably included in the list. Furthermore, it was revealed that individuals N.Kh. and M.S. listed as employees of Technical School No. 1 in Qushrabot district do not actually work at that technical school.
Additionally, it was found that district (city) administrations have cases of sending employees not directly related to the foreign business trip. The Kattakurgan district administration included an employee not directly related to the trip in the delegation for a business trip to China organized from May 22–30, 2025.
The inspection showed that the Kattakurgan and Qushrabot district administrations concealed information about foreign business trips, which contradicts President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's Decree PF-6247 dated June 16, 2021.
Documents collected during the study and analysis were sent to law enforcement agencies for legal action.
