Aliyev called the drone attack on Nakhchivan from Iran a terrorist attack.
Azerbaijan demands an explanation and official apology from Tehran.

APA reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev called the drone attack on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic a terrorist act.
According to the head of state, the drones were launched from Iranian territory and were aimed only at civilian targets — the international airport, the terminal building, and a school.
"This is a treacherous attack and an act of terrorism. We expect not only an explanation from Tehran but also an official apology," said Aliyev, demanding that those responsible for the incident be punished.
In response to the incident, Baku has put its armed forces, border guards, and special units on full combat alert. The armed forces have already received an order to prepare a package of countermeasures.
Iran, however, categorically denies the accusations. The country's media and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs claim that Iranian forces did not strike Azerbaijan and have no connection to the missile intercepted over Turkey.
It should be recalled that on March 5, Iranian drones struck the terminal building of Nakhchivan International Airport, and another drone crashed near a school in the village of Shakerabad. As a result of the incident, two civilians were injured and received medical assistance.
