Uzbekistan sent humanitarian aid to Iran.
The humanitarian aid sent by Uzbekistan consists of food products and medical supplies, which were handed over to officials in Daragaz, Iran.

According to a report from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on March 16, humanitarian aid from Uzbekistan has been delivered to the people of Iran.
It is reported that the aid consisted of food products such as flour, rice, sugar, pasta, sunflower oil, and various canned goods, as well as medicines and medical supplies. The humanitarian cargo, shipped in several trucks, has already reached its destination.
The handover ceremony for the cargo in the city of Daragaz was attended by local government officials, including the city mayor Mujtaba Bazmara, as well as Ali Masumifar, head of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' representative office in Khorasan Razavi province, and Ali Mujtaba, Iran's ambassador to Turkmenistan.
The Ministry did not provide detailed information on the exact volume of the cargo or the representatives from the Uzbek side involved in its delivery. However, published photos show Ravshanbek Alimov, who served as Uzbekistan's ambassador to Turkmenistan, participating in the process of handing over the humanitarian aid.
During the event, officials expressed gratitude to the leadership of Uzbekistan for the aid provided to the Iranian people. They emphasized that this initiative is an expression of the traditions of friendship and mutual support between the two countries.
It is worth recalling that on February 28, military actions against Iran were initiated by the US and Israel. Iran responded with missile and drone strikes on Israeli and US military facilities in the region. It is reported that the conflict, now entering its third week, has resulted in over 2,000 casualties, with the majority of victims being in Iranian and Lebanese territories.
This conflict is causing increased instability in the Middle East region and a rise in prices on global energy markets.
