Today, the international forum Destination Karakalpakstan — 2026 is taking place in the city of Nukus. A correspondent from zamon.uz reported this from the event site. 

 

This international forum, organized in collaboration with the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan and other partner organizations, aims to promote the region's rich historical and cultural heritage, unique natural sites, and investment opportunities.

 

The main goal of the forum is to shape Karakalpakstan as one of the promising tourism destinations in Central Asia, create new tour packages, and expand international cooperation.

 

The Destination forum organized in Karakalpakstan is being attended by leading tour operators from more than 15 countries in Europe and Asia, including France, Italy, Norway, Switzerland, Belgium, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, and China.
