Italian Prime Minister became a target of artificial intelligence
The user who shared the image commented that Meloni "should be ashamed."

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni strongly condemned the distribution of a fake photo of her created using artificial intelligence on the internet and warned that such technologies are becoming tools for political and personal attacks. AP reported this.
In the image, Meloni is depicted in bed, wearing underwear, and it has spread widely on social media. The Prime Minister shared this photo on her Facebook page, drawing attention to how it was disseminated. According to her, the image was spread by a user named "Roberto," and the post included a comment that Meloni "should be ashamed."
Meloni called on citizens to approach content circulating on social media with caution and emphasized the need not to share it without verification.
"Deepfake is a very dangerous tool because it can deceive people, manipulate them, and target any individual. I can protect myself, but most people are not capable of that," she said in a statement on Facebook.
The Prime Minister stated that the issue of whether to contact law enforcement authorities regarding this matter is still under consideration. At the same time, she noted in some comments, in a humorous tone, that the fake image "made her look more beautiful."
"But the truth is that people are now using absolutely any means to attack and spread lies," Meloni added.
This is not the first such incident involving Meloni. Earlier this year, a statue of an angel that appeared at a religious building in Rome, resembling her appearance, sparked widespread discussion on social media.
At that time as well, the Prime Minister responded to the situation with humor and said that "comparing herself to an angel is incorrect."
