As of January 1, 2026, in Uzbekistan, there are an average of 1,015 men per 1,000 women. This was reported by the State Statistics Committee.

 

According to the committee, the highest rate by region was recorded in Namangan region, where there are 1,034 men per 1,000 women. 

 

The following positions are held by Kashkadarya region — 1,029 men, Andijan region — 1,027 men, and Navoi region — 1,026 men.

 

Also, in Surkhandarya region, this figure was 1,025 men. In Jizzakh and Fergana regions — 1,019 men each, and in Samarkand region — 1,016 men per 1,000 women.

 

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, this figure was 1,010 men, while in Syrdarya region — 1,009 men, Tashkent region — 1,008 men, Bukhara region — 1,006 men, and Khorezm region — 1,004 men.

 

Tashkent city was the region with the lowest rate on the list. In the capital, there are 966 men per 1,000 women.
