President of Uzbekistan received the OSCE Secretary General.
During the meeting, issues of expanding multifaceted cooperation were discussed.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, Feridun Sinirlioğlu, who arrived in the country on an official visit on May 21.
According to a report from the presidential press service, the meeting discussed issues of further developing cooperation with the OSCE in economic-environmental, political, and humanitarian spheres.

It was noted with satisfaction that the open and constructive dialogue has reached a high level, and Uzbekistan's cooperation with the OSCE and its institutions is consistently strengthening.
The leadership of the organization regularly carries out visits to Uzbekistan, and OSCE ODIHR missions actively participate in monitoring electoral processes in our country.

The results of joint projects implemented in the areas of combating transnational threats, reforming the judicial-legal system, promoting gender equality, protecting human rights, and developing mass media were particularly noted.
The parties emphasized the need to further expand cooperation in priority areas such as combating cybercrime, developing digitalization and artificial intelligence, improving personnel qualifications, supporting youth, and promoting the "green" agenda.

An agreement was reached to prepare a new "roadmap" for cooperation and to hold a number of joint events in Uzbekistan and within the OSCE framework.
Views were also exchanged on pressing issues of the regional and international agenda.
