The activities of specialized judges handling labor disputes in Uzbekistan will be established.

Starting August 1, 2026, judges specialized in hearing labor disputes will begin operating in civil courts of Uzbekistan. This was established in the relevant resolution of the Presidium of the Supreme Court.

 

According to the resolution, a separate corps of judges hearing labor disputes will be formed within the existing staffing units of civil courts.

 

Accordingly, 4 specialized judges will work in the Judicial Panel for Civil Cases of the Supreme Court, and 3 specialized judges each will work in the Judicial Panels for Civil Cases of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional courts, and the Tashkent city court.

 

Additionally, 2 judges each will be specialized in hearing labor disputes in the inter-district courts of Nukus, Bukhara, Jizzakh, Karshi, Karmana, Namangan, Termez, Ohangaron, Fergana, and Urgench. Two such judges will also operate in the Samarkand city court and the inter-district courts of Mirzo Ulugbek, Mirobod, Shaykhontohur, Uchtepa, and Yakkasaray districts of Tashkent city. In the inter-district courts of Kattakurgan, Ortachirchik, and Yangiyul, one specialized judge each will work.

 

Based on the resolution, applications related to labor disputes received by the courts after August 1, 2026, will be distributed among the specialized judges.

 

Civil cases received before this date, including those accepted into proceedings, will be reviewed and concluded in accordance with the previously existing procedure.
