On February 21, a mudflow hazard was declared in 9 regions of Uzbekistan.
In some areas, there is also a possibility of flooding due to the accumulation of rainwater.

Uzhydromet has warned that due to expected rainfall on February 21, mudflows and floods may occur in the foothill and mountainous areas of the republic.
According to forecasts, there is a possibility of mudflows and floods in the following areas:
- Kashkadarya region: Yakkabag, Dehkanabad, Chirakchi, Kitab, Shahrisabz, Kamashi, Guzar;
- Surkhandarya region: Sariosiyo, Uzun, Oltinsay, Denau, Boysun, Sherabad, Shurchi, Kumkurgan, Muzrabat;
- Samarkand region: Urgut, Samarkand, Bulungur, Nurobad, Kushrabat, Kattakurgan, Payarik, Jomboy, Ishtikhan;
- Navoi region: Khatirchi, Navbahor, Nurata, Konimekh, Karmana;
- Jizzakh region: Zomin, Bakhmal, Gallaorol, Sharof Rashidov, Forish, Yangiabad;
- Tashkent region: Ohangaron, Bostanlyk, Parkent, Piskent, Urta Chirchik, Yukori Chirchik districts, as well as the cities of Angren and Almalyk;
- Namangan region: Pop, Kosonsoy, Chartak, Chust, Namangan, Yangikurgan;
- Fergana region: Sokh, Shakhimardan, Fergana, Beshariq;
- Andijan region: Andijan, Asaka, Jalaquduq, Kurgantepa, Pakhtaabad, Izboskan, Khodjaabad, Marhamat districts and the city of Khanabad.
There is also a possibility of flooding in some areas due to the accumulation of rainwater.
Experts have called on citizens living in foothill and mountainous areas, vacationers, and drivers traveling on mountain roads to take precautionary measures and strictly adhere to safety rules.
