It's too late to negotiate with Iran — Trump
The US president said that the opportunity for negotiations with Iran has been missed, and indicated that the US military operation against Iran is proceeding faster than planned.

U.S. President Donald Trump indicated that the opportunity to conduct negotiations with Iran has almost been lost. He wrote about this on his page on the Truth Social social network here.
Trump emphasized that Iran's air and naval defense systems and military capabilities have been seriously damaged.
"Their air defense, air force, navy, and leadership have been destroyed. Now they want to negotiate. And I said: 'It's too late'," he wrote.
The U.S. President also referenced an article published in The Washington Post in his post. It emphasized that Iran has historically been viewed as a threat to the U.S., which is why Washington has maintained military bases in the Middle East. At the same time, Trump stressed that he managed to change the situation in the region without launching a ground invasion.
On March 3, the U.S. leader stated that the military operation against Iran, launched on February 28 in cooperation with Israel, is nearing the achievement of its objectives.
"We are inflicting significant damage on them and seriously intimidating them," said Trump.
According to the White House leader, the operation is proceeding faster than planned. Its main goal is to destroy Iran's nuclear infrastructure and missile capabilities.
Trump also noted that the U.S. weapons stockpiles are virtually limitless, emphasizing that if necessary, the country has the capability to successfully conduct long-term military operations.
Earlier, on March 2, Ali Larijani stated that Iran has no plans to negotiate with the U.S. A day before that, Trump had said that Tehran expressed its readiness to negotiate with Washington.
