Upon arriving in Kazakhstan, Tokayev sent a letter to Mirziyoyev.
The leader of Kazakhstan expressed heartfelt gratitude to Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the exceptional hospitality and sincerity shown during his working visit to the city of Bukhara.

A letter from Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived for Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This was reported by the President's press secretary.
In the letter, the leader of Kazakhstan expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the exceptional hospitality and sincerity shown during his working visit to the ancient city of Bukhara, a gem of not only Central Asian but world civilization.
Furthermore, Tokayev noted that he was impressed by how Uzbekistan is preserving, enriching, and harmonizing this invaluable heritage with modern needs.
"Bukhara's beautiful appearance today is a vivid manifestation of the high effectiveness of Your wise and constructive policy aimed at building a New Uzbekistan. The visit itself, rich in well-considered events, was undoubtedly beneficial. In my view, the one-day talks in Bukhara are in no way inferior to an official visit in terms of long-term political effect. Our meeting opened new horizons for further strengthening multifaceted relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and serves to enrich interstate strategic cooperation with new substance," the letter states.
Tokayev informed that upon returning to Astana, he gave specific instructions for implementing the reached and confirmed agreements, as well as for considering Uzbekistan's beneficial experience in various fields, paying special attention to the joint "Clean Air" initiative.
"I am fully confident that the high-quality implementation of the tasks we have set will serve to elevate Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan strategic partnership and alliance to new heights. I express special gratitude for presenting archival materials of great cultural and historical significance for Kazakhstan. This act testifies to Your generosity and warm attitude towards the Kazakh people, and Your worthy recognition of the history of our fraternal countries," is noted in the letter.
At the end of the letter, the President of Kazakhstan wished Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his family sincere health and happiness from the bottom of his heart, and new successes in building a New Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan's eternal friend, ally, and strategic partner.
